Dinosaur Jr.’s distinct sound, characterized by high gain, and ample amounts of feedback and distortion, and frontman J Mascis’s melodic guitar solos, were highly influential in the alternative rock movement of the 1990s, which is exactly why Salazar and Nike teamed up for another homage to this great band. They went all out for this sneaker, with glitter all around against a purple synthetic upper, and a gloss added on the outer surface to maximize the light refraction.
